Windows To The Universe
- Windows to the Universe is a user-friendly learning system covering
the Earth and Space sciences. Its resources include a rich array
of documents, images, movies, animations, and data sets, that explore
the Earth and Space sciences and the historical and cultural ties
between science, exploration, and the human experience. Each section
is presented for 3 reading levels (Elementary, Intermediate and
Advanced)
Curriculum Integration
- Develop a Timeline showing the evolution of the Solar System.
- Create a PowerPoint presentation with images explaining the
process of Plate Tectonics.
- Develop a Mineral chart - include properties, images, etc.
- Hands on activities.
