Remote Backup Service

District Data

The data stored on your servers has become the lifeblood of your district. Unfortunately, things happen: viruses, accidental deletions or hardware failures can cause the loss of data. The repercussions can be immeasurable. To ensure the security of your data, it needs to be backed up nightly and taken to a secure remote location.

Remote Backup Service

The remote backup service is one of the most important tools your district can have. It gives you "peace of mind" knowing that your data has been backed up and is stored in multiple secure remote locations. Your technical support staff will be notified each morning by email with the status of your backups. By keeping two weeks of backups online, the time needed to recover files will be considerably reduced. File recovery time, which currently can take as long as four hours, can now be reduced to minutes. Training to use a web based console to perform restores as needed is included in the service.
