Project Manager - Student Information Systems (SIS) - jmaher@lhric.org

Jim is responsible for the SIS department. Pentamation Student Systems, STEP, Test scoring, Diamond Chip (Census software) and Medicaid are among the major applications supported within the SIS Department. Jim is an integral part of the STEP team and manages all members of the team.

Jim brings with him eighteen years experience managing an Educational Data Processing Center. He has a vast knowledge of schools, student systems, assessment and test scoring.

Rob has been a member of the test scoring STEP team for over ten years. His technical background as a systems programmer supporting our Student Systems group provided him with a great understanding of the technical needs required to work with the STEP application. Rob coordinates the STEP Team and serves as a helpdesk analyst and instructor to our 63 schools districts. Rob represents the RIC on the State STEP Committee. He works with other BOCES Regional Centers providing services and communications to outside agencies involved in the STEP process.

Steve has been working at the RIC for 18 years. He has experience programming in micro-based systems and large systems. He supports our mid-range student system Pentamation and has taught classes in Intelligent Query. He serves as a helpdesk analyst and instructor. Steve provides technical support to our 63 schools districts.

Denise Consaga

Denise has been with the RIC for 6 years now working primarily with the SASI team. Denise is the main contact for the SASI/STEP interface. As an instructor and analyst in the SASI software Denise's experience with assisting districts in state reporting is second to none. Together with the SASI team. She has made the STEP project successful for our SASI districts.

Manager Customer Relations - mmccarthy@lhric.org

Maureen manages the overall services supported in the SIS area as well as the Financial Information Systems department. She provides strategic direction to the services provided through the RIC. She works with the major vendors solidifying partnerships beneficial to our member school districts. During her fourteen years at the RIC she served as LAN Manager and helped create the Consulting Services department. Both of these services have become major areas of BOCES services offered at the RIC.
