The Technology Leadership Institute (TLI) provides school district leaders with opportunities to engage with nationally known educational technology experts in local venues. It is a great place to learn, to share best practices, and to communicate the value of technology to improve and, in some cases, transform education.
- This year the TLI is offering one of its best programs in years. In addition to the great speakers that have been the hallmark of the Institute, we have added several outstanding innovations.
- Registration for Technology and Learning magazine's Tech Forum at IBM Palisades is included in this year's TLI membership.
- Registration for NYSCATE's Annual Conference - Learning and Leading with Technology, will be included for TLI members.
- The TLI will sponsor a Technology Expo at the Edith Macy Conference Center. This event will showcase the best uses of technology by schools in the Lower Hudson Region.
- This year, TLI's Mohonk Mountain House Leadership Retreat promises to be one of the best ever, with guest facilitators Gary Stager and Will Richardson. As in past years, the TLI membership fee and our corporate sponsors will cover the cost of rooms, meals, and the evening reception.
The TLI is more than a place to come to hear speakers. It is a place to network and share with your peers. It can be an instrumental part of your strategy to build support for technology in your local district. Grab your superintendent, or building principal by the elbow and bring him to hear: Hall Davidson, Neil Howe, Jamie McKenzie, Erin Gruwell, David Jakes, Rudy Crew, Peter Reynolds, Will Richardson, or Gary Stager. Let them catch the enthusiasm, challenge the speaker one on one, and leave with a new feel for the value of technology.
The beauty of the TLI is that you don't have to travel to all over the country to experience the best educational technology has to offer. TLI brings it to you.
