Embodied Leadership: Inspiration through Example

Leadership is not magnetic personality - that can just as well be a glib tongue. It is not "making friends and influencing people" - that is flattery. Leadership is lifting a person's vision to higher sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.

In this workshop you will learn to:

  • Inspire others to align around a shared vision of technology
  • Build trust with those you lead
  • Develop the courage to take appropriate risks and to stand your ground when necessary
  • Listen to others and connect to their concerns
  • Use the power of appreciation to create better relationships
  • Manage your commitments to reduce your stress and overwhelm
